Are your health issues caused by your eating habits?
Many of the general health issues out there today are directly linked to what we eat. Many people aren't aware of the simple guidelines to healthy eating much less follow a healthy eating plan.
The food we buy these days is more refined than ever before. This, in spite of all the research into the effects that refined food has on the body. A simple trip to the grocery store to buy some brown rice or wholewheat flour can turn into a full blown hunting expedition. Where I live, finding brown rice on the shelves is like winning the lottery!

We definitely live in a world where convenience is king. Most people would far sooner buy a ready made meal than cook one themselves using good, wholesome ingredients. We don't think about the high fat and salt content and what effects they have on our bodies.
Let's get back to that trip to the grocery store....take a look at the people around you. See the woman who is out of breath, the man who is deep red in the face. Worse still, see that child who is clearly overweight?
The harsh reality is that what we chose to eat directly affects our health, leading to issues and ailments that can easily be solved by following a balanced diet.
Some of the most widely talked about and publicised health issues are heart disease,
high blood pressure,
obesity and
type-2 diabetes.
These are all problems stemming from TOO MUCH of something....too much fat, too much salt, too many refined food products or too much sugar.
Just as there are issues caused by excess, so too are there those caused by too little...malnutrition,
irritable bowel syndrome,
osteoporosis,
depression.
Illnesses such as these are usually caused by the intake of too few of the micro nutrients, vitamins, minerals and fibre contained in good healthy food.

I will be exploring these and many more health issues, ailments and problems in the pages below. Hopefully the information held them will be of some help to you.
